Canyon Clay Company is a Studio, Gallery and Custom Frame shop located on the square in Canyon, Texas. Canyon Clay Company was established in July of 2007 by Alex and Mandy Gregory. It has been the dream of Alex and Mandy Gregory for quite some time to own and operate a clay studio and art gallery.
As the name suggests, the studio area is devoted primarily to pottery. There are two electric pottery wheels, two kick wheels and a large table for drying clay.There are two electric kilns and a raku kiln for bisque and glaze firing the clay. Plans are in the works for building a wood fired salt glazing kiln at the studio. There is also an area of the studio devoted to Dusty Gamble who does lamp working glass. At Canyon Clay Company we produce decorative and functional pottery for your everyday use.
The gallery represents a diverse group of emerging local and area artists. Serving both as a source of inspiration and educational forum for the community.
